Instructions for
McAfee Virus Scan 801i
- Install:
1. Click on the link provided
and download the install.
Click "Open" when the option
appears.
2. It is a larger file so
please allow time for the file to
download.
3. WinZip will open and
continue by choosing Use Evaluation
version. If you do not have
WinZip, install by download from
www.winzip.com
4. Double click setup.exe from
the window to begin the install.
5. Allow time for the file to
expand.
6. Click Next.
7. Choose perpetual from the
license type drop down box.
Choose the I agree statement.
8. Click Next.
9. Click Install.
10. Install will begin.
11. Click finish. The
update will begin, followed
automatically by a full system scan.
This will take some time, but you
should allow the scan to run
completely through on a machine that
is not new.
12. When complete the
following window appears, click OK.
13. Click OK.
14. Choose VirusScan console
from the Programs Menu.
15. Verify the following
settings are correct under the
AutoUpdate Task.
If all is correct, Restart Computer. |
